Protection tools specifically designed for the coverage of Litigation Risk
LexCapital’s proprietary platform RischioLegale plays a fundamental role, creating the appropriate actuarial and statistical basis for the pricing of new policies and for the adequate provisioning of the related technical reserves within the financial statements of the underwriting Company.
ADVERSE COST INSURANCE (ACI)
This is an insurance policy that separately covers legal expenses in the event that the insured party is unsuccessful in court. It differs from all generic legal risk policies currently available on the market, as it focuses exclusively on a specific phase of the litigation.
AFTER THE EVENT INSURANCE (ATE)
This is a total and/or partial insurance policy against the financial exposure of having to meet the expenses, in general, owed to the opposing party in the event of losing the case, not limited to legal costs.
