November<\/strong> at the <strong>Cappella Farnese di Palazzo D&#8217;Accursio<\/strong>, is considered <strong>a leading light in the debate on technology in the legal world<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p>It focused in particular on the <strong>synergy between the law and technology<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p>LexCapital&#8217;s <strong>CIO Manuel Caccone<\/strong> gave a talk which focused in particular on the <strong>topic of &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.lexcapital.it\/en\/litigation-funding-in-italy-justice-for-companies\/\">Litigation Funding<\/a> and Predictive Justice<\/strong>&#8220;.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Legal Tech Forum 2023 in Bologna: an important conference on legal technologies<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>The event was <strong>promoted and coordinated by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.legaltechitaly.com\/\">Legal Tech Italy<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>An <strong>observatory<\/strong> \u2013 founded by the Bologna-based company <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kopjra.com\/\">Kopjira<\/a> \u2013 which has been <strong>studying the legal-tech sector<\/strong> for many years and is concerned specifically with the<strong> interaction between the law and the numerous possibilities offered by new technologies<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Since 2015<\/strong>, Legal Tech Forum has been an <strong>unmissable event for those wishing to discuss developments in technology in the legal field<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p>A discussion which sees the <strong>active participation of influential guests<\/strong> \u2013 companies, start-ups, law firms and industry professionals \u2013 who <strong>bring their field experience and encourage debate on this cross-sectoral issue<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>To date<\/strong>, the event has welcomed <strong>2500 participants and more than 150 speakers<\/strong>, who have been invited to discuss how the <strong>spheres of law<\/strong> and <strong>new technologies<\/strong> can be combined.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The historic guests of Forum 2023<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p>Now in its <strong>seventh year<\/strong>, the <strong>Legal Tech Forum<\/strong> has seen the participation of <strong>renowned speakers and leading companies over time<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p>Among these companies were <strong>Sky<\/strong>, <strong>Google<\/strong>, <strong>Mediaset<\/strong>, <strong>IBM<\/strong> and <strong>Cisco<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p>The event, after two years of being held remotely, was <strong>back open to visitors attending in person<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p>This decision was taken not only in order to <strong>appreciate the physical spaces symbolising the birth of the project<\/strong>, but also to <strong>encourage direct (in person) debate between the various professionals in the sector<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p>Many topics were discussed:<strong> Big Data<\/strong>, <strong>Cybersecurity<\/strong>, <strong>Metaverse<\/strong>, <strong>Blockchain<\/strong> and, of course, the <strong>new frontier of artificial intelligence<\/strong>, with its <strong>legal and regulatory aspects<\/strong>, and <strong>Predictive Justice<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The debate on legal technologies<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p>The <strong>debate<\/strong> surrounding legal technologies is not merely technical, but also<strong> involves questions of ethics and morality<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p>As <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bolognatoday.it\/economia\/legal-tech-forum-2023-la-prima-conferenza-dedicata-alle-tecnologie-legali-torna-in-presenza-a-bologna-10449667.html\">Tommaso Grotto<\/a> \u2013 CEO and co-founder of Kopjira \u2013 pointed out, we are living in a <strong>historic time<\/strong> in which our <strong>interaction with new technologies<\/strong> is becoming more and <strong>more widespread and intrusive in every sector<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p>This leads to questions regarding the <strong>functional aspect of these tools<\/strong> \u2013 their correct use \u2013 and also
